“It’s All About Jesus”

 

We worship and serve this year under the theme, “It’s All About Jesus” which is also our continuing focus of ministry.  On the day of Pentecost, the Apostle Peter explained the unusual events that had take place with the declaration,

 

³²This Jesus God has raised up, of which we are all witnesses. ³³Therefore being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear.

³⁴“For David did not ascend into the heavens, but he says himself:

      ‘The Lord said to my Lord,

      “Sit at My right hand,

³⁵      Till I make Your enemies Your footstool.”’

³⁶“Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.”

 

We therefore do all that we do to honor and celebrate the Lordship of Jesus Christ.  We further invite all believers to live their lives centered in Jesus Christ.  As we do this, we give expression to the love of God manifested to us in Jesus Christ the only begotten Son of God and we remember,

 

God so loved he world that God He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but shall have everlasting life.

 

Truly, it is all about Jesus.
